I've done a lot of puzzles and the split view here actually works — the above-water half and the underwater half line up in a way that kept me second-guessing which piece went where. Took me three evenings, and I was genuinely a little sad when the last piece dropped in.
The colors in the underwater section are so vivid it feels like you're fishing right alongside the angler above.
The split view with the fish above and below the water line kept me hooked the whole time — the salmon detail really pops against that dark water. Pieces fit snugly with barely any false fits, which matters on a 1000 piecer where the reeds and ripples all look alike.
