The cupcake and macaron images are so colorful that I actually felt hungry while putting it together. As a first-time puzzler, 100 pieces felt totally doable, and it only took me a couple of evenings to finish.
Bought this as a first puzzle for my niece and she finished it in one sitting. The macaron and cupcake pieces are colorful enough that sorting the edges was actually fun. Solid starter puzzle for the price.
The pieces have a nice matte finish that makes them easy to handle, though a few were slightly stuck together out of the box. My five-year-old needed a bit of help sorting the colors, but all 100 pieces were accounted for.
