International Maritime Signal Flags was researched and is according to the International Code of Signals for Visual, Sound, and Radio Communication, 1969 Edition (Revised 2020), maintained by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. It includes the Radio Names and Morse Code, as well as meanings of single flags.
I’m genuinely impressed that the flags follow the 1969 Code of Signals—makes it feel like a real reference tool, not just a puzzle. The pieces fit together well and the image is crisp. It’s been a fun way to brush up on maritime communication.
The print quality on these flags is sharp enough to read the signal letters clearly, and the included reference chart makes it a fun way to learn the code while puzzling.
The flag illustrations actually match the 1969 International Code of Signals, so each piece doubles as a little reference chart while you build. Took me three evenings and the pieces lock together with barely any false fits.
